Contest Details (Contest Has Closed)

Sharpen your crayons, because we’re having a coloring contest! The YMCA of San Diego County and HES Solar invite local children ages 3 to 12 to enter our fun coloring contest. It’s the perfect opportunity to let your kiddos’ artistic talents shine. Pick up the contest entry form at the Welcome Center of any San Diego County YMCA (or download and print the entry form) and submit it by October 15, 2021.

The winner from each age category (3-5 and 6-12) will receive a $100 certificate valid toward a YMCA youth program. On October 20, the winners will be announced here on this page and their artwork will be promoted across YMCA and HES Solar social media channels. This contest is part of our partnership with HES Solar. Any purchase of a home or commercial solar system from HES Solar in 2021 through the YMCA promotion activates a $500 donation to the Y! It's Easy To Enter

  1. Grab your crayons, markers or colored pencils, and color away!
  2. Fill out the official contest entry form with your information.
  3. Drop it off at the Welcome Center at any YMCA of San Diego County branch location or email a photo of the finished artwork to [email protected] by October 15, 2021.
    Note: If you're submitting your entry by email, please be sure to include a photo of the artwork and a photo of the entry form.

Official Rules:

  • All entries must be submitted by 8 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, October 15, 2021.
  • Contest is open to children ages 3-12. No YMCA membership, camp enrollment or purchase is required. No purchase with HES Solar is required. One winner will be selected in each age group: (3-5 years old) (6-12 years old).
  • One entry per child, but multiple children per household are allowed.
  • Submitted artwork becomes the property of the YMCA of San Diego County and HES Solar.
  • Official entry form must be submitted by a parent or guardian, 18 years or older.
