The YMCA of San Diego County’s summer day camp season is in full swing! While many of our popular camps are full, rosters fluctuate throughout the summer, and spots often become available in the days leading up to each camp week. Check this page for a quick roundup of fun camps with availability over the next few weeks. If you are interested in a particular camp, please check the program finder regularly, as we fill openings on a first come, first served basis.

Join us for Healthy Kids Day at the Ryan Family YMCA—a day filled with fun, learning and community connection. Dive into a Water Safety Workshop with Aquatics Director Andi, get creative with painting and planting in our community garden, and enjoy face painting, a STEM bubble activity and a slip n slide. Families can also take part in story time with the San Diego Library, children’s yoga, live music, prizes and giveaways. It’s a great day to play, learn and grow together.

In honor of Healthy Kids Day and Earth Day, we’re thrilled to have you join us for an exciting day of community, connection and outdoor fun at YMCA Camp Surf! Kick things off with a beach cleanup from 9:00am–12:00pm, then stick around for a vibrant resource fair and camp open house from 10:00am–2:00pm. Explore hands-on camp activities like climbing, archery, arts & crafts, mural painting and more. Enjoy live performances, cooking demos and great vibes all around. OVERNIGHT CAMP UPDATE
You still have time to lock in an end-of-summer getaway at overnight camp. Check out options available through mid-August at YMCA Camp Marston in Julian, YMCA Raintree Ranch for horseback riding in Julian and YMCA Camp Surf for outdoor adventures on land and in the water! You can book a weekend for your group or family, too!

The Carlos Huelga Surf Scholarship is available to aspiring young surfers interested in bringing a lifelong passion to life. This scholarship for surf camp was created in loving memory of cherished father, friend, husband and dedicated member of the Ryan Family Y Board of Advisors, Carlos Huelga (1962-2023).
