On behalf of those who partner with and support the YMCA of San Diego County, we are honored to share our Fiscal Year 21-2022 Annual Report with you. Our team, volunteers, donors and partners' continuous effort and commitment to the Y's success in these unique times has made it possible for us to do what we do best; be the catalyst to transform lives and communities.
It has been an incredible year for our YMCA, with the development of a new strategic plan that takes ambitious, measurable steps to ensure our Y remains relevant, sustainable and impactful in fulfilling our mission. We're very proud of our work in providing hope and healing to 267,666 individuals throughout the county. And, thanks to our very generous donors, our Y was able to provide 54,476 scholarships for those who needed us most.
We are thrilled to share with you all the ways our Y has been front and center on topics such as runaway and homeless youth, mental health, diversity and inclusion, the child care crisis and more. However, we know there is still so much more work to do!
