Counseling Services

YMCA Youth & Family Services offers low-cost therapeutic counseling to support children, individuals, couples, and families in the pursuit of a healthy and fulfilling life. Our counseling services, located in central San Diego, provide help to guide you through life’s difficulties, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief and loss, trauma recovery, parenting challenges, etc.

Whether you are seeking counseling services to overcome a challenge, repair a relationship or improve your personal well-being, our trained mental health specialists are here to assist you. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking therapists are available.

We are unable to take health insurance including Medi-Cal, our low-cost counseling session fees are assessed on a sliding scale, based on household annual income. Each counseling session is 50 minutes long. We recommend weekly sessions for a minimum of 3 months.
