BRINGING MEANINGFUL AND LASTING CHANGE WITH OUR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES
The YMCA of San Diego County is far more than a gym; prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were the 10th largest employer in the county, and served over 500,000 residents each year. In this new reality and in response to identified needs, we have adjusted our programs to continue essential services in alignment with public health guidelines. This Policy Platform outlines the key areas of policy focus for CSS. We are committed to developing, supporting, and promoting policies that address the following imperative needs for children, youth, families, and the professionals who serve them.
