Donate blood and enjoy a fun day that includes lunch from Rice or Death, live music, Ocean Beach Surf & Skate, games, free lap swim and a silent auction! If you are unable to give blood, that’s OK! Come and take part in the fun and consider helping the Y’s Annual Campaign that raises critical funding to help the community. Lunch is available for purchase.

“On May 22, 2022 I was a passenger in a serious car accident. I had many serious injuries including multiple fractures in both femurs, a broken pelvis, jaw, arm and sternum. I was bleeding out internally and my right lung was collapsed. It is truly a miracle I survived. The most important thing keeping me alive was blood transfusions. I was receiving blood as I was airlifted through to 3 days after my surgeries. The hospital had only 4 units of my blood type and I used all of them. I would really appreciate it if you could come and donate or just raise awareness to the cause. Donating blood truly saves lives and this is a great opportunity to give back!”
