Get your walking shoes ready to reap the benefits of exercise while giving back to your community — we’re cleaning up our neighborhood!

Jackie Robinson Family YMCA has partnered with I Love a Clean San Diego and Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. (FBE) to host a community cleanup.

Gear list:

• Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, wet or muddy. Long, sturdy pants are recommended.
• Closed toe shoes are required. Sturdy tennis shoes or hiking shoes are recommended.
• This event involves physical activity and walking a long distance. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle. Water will also be available at the staging area.
• If you have extra garbage bags, work gloves or grabbers, please bring them. If you don’t have any, that is OK! We will provide some supplies.
