Surfin' Safari at YMCA Camp Surf

Annual Beach Party and Fundraiser

Join us on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 3:00 to 8:30pm for YMCA Camp Surf’s famous beach party, and this year’s theme is Surfin' Safari! Check-in will open at 3:00pm, and the main event will begin at 4:00pm. Please join us for this fun and relaxed fundraiser and help send more kids to camp. The beautiful McKinney Oceanfront Center will be decked out with historical displays, live music, drinks and hosting fabulous food! We invite you to watch the sunset, be part of our opportunity drawing, silent auction and dance the night away for a great cause. Your partnership proceeds go directly to provide scholarships for kids to go to camp as well as facility projects at YMCA Camp Surf. All ticket sales and donations will go directly toward providing financial assistance to campers and families, and to program and facility improvements. You will be making a difference in the lives of young people across San Diego County and beyond.

Everyone is invited to dine on great food at the beautiful McKinney Oceanfront Center and enjoy the company of Camp Surf colleagues and friends. This venue sits right on the beach with an open-beam wood ceiling, fireplace, camper karma and huge glass doors with a view of the Pacific Ocean!

This night includes:

  • Great food and offerings from local breweries, wineries, and vendors
  • Silent auction with trips, events, and unique items
  • Ocean sunset, dinner, live music, and dancing
  • Celebrating Camp Surf’s history and community impact.


Early Bird — Before October 13, 2024

  • Individual: $100
  • Table (Seats 8 guests): $800

Regular — After October 13, 2024

  • Individual: $150
  • Table (Seats 8 guests): $1200
