All-Access Membership

Membership at the YMCA includes plenty of opportunities to learn, play and get healthy. That’s because when you join one Y, you join them all! The Wellness Center: Where Health is Wealth

Peninsula Family YMCA offers a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and group exercise studios.

    • KickStart is a personalized wellness program consisting of three one-on-one sessions over thirty days, free for all members of the YMCA!
  • Group Exercise Class
    • LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a small group program developed and established in partnership with the LIVESTRONG Foundation, assists those who are living with, through, or beyond cancer to strengthen their spirit, mind and body.

Sports at the Y: Do More, Be More

Look at our sports, aquatics and special-interest programs, including running, martial arts and hiking to try a new activity or pursue one you've always loved.

Swim at the Y: Learn Together, Play Together

We offer an outdoor pool for swim lessons for all ages, family swim, water aerobics, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs.

Childcare at the Y: Call on Us

The YMCA is the nation's leading provider of childcare. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children at the Y.

  • Child Watch and Kids Club
    • Child Watch and Kids Club is a program where the YMCA provides up to two hours of free supervised playtime in a safe, enriching environment for those with family memberships while they utilize the Y's facilities
    • The hours for Child Watch, for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, are Sundays 9:00 am-2:00 pm, Monday through Friday 7:45 am-2:00 pm and 3:00 pm-8:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-2:00 pm.
  • Character Builders

Camp with the Y: Our Doors Are Open

The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer several amazing camps where every child can build confidence and make new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. Members get up to 25% off camp registration and we offer scholarships to families who qualify.

Socialize at the Y: Strengthening Our Community

The Y is a place where you can challenge yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, foster connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bring your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities. 

  • Adventure Guides and Family Camp are opportunities for parents and children to develop strong bonds and set the foundation for positive, lifelong relationships.
  • Y Active Adults: Age 50+ group
    • In addition to offering health and wellness activities geared toward the active older adults, Mission Valley YMCA also offers events for the Y Active Adults to socialize and go on outings.

Membership and Program Assistance

The YMCA offers financial scholarships to reduce membership and program fees to those that qualify, helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our scholarship program is based on a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each family's financial situation, and is available thanks to our generous Annual Campaign donors.
