Specialty Day Camp
Our phenomenal specialty day camps combine the traditional fun of YMCA day camps with the more specialized skills and learning of our outside specialty camp providers or YMCA experts.
Each specialty day camp has a wide range of subjects to campers to enjoy — from sports-related day camps concentrating on skills and techniques, to creative camps like ceramics that focus on expanding artistic skills and confidence.
On or before 06/29/2020
Wild Encounters will give campers a behind the scenes look at what takes place with the animals at the Zoo. Each day the campers will receive a guided tour of a different animal enclosure, to learn about the animals and what care is needed for each animal. Campers will also spend time with the camp staff enjoying the zoo without a tour guide. At the end of this week your camper will have gained new animal knowledge, made lasting friendships, as well as made new discoveries about the world around them!
