Fitness Class- Cardio/Strength
A pre-choreographed full-body workout program using light to moderate weights, performing high repetitions.
Regular cardiovascular exercise makes your heart stronger and more efficient at pumping blood to the organs that depend on a strong blood supply to function.
Increases strength and enhances muscular development and coordination.
Strengthens the deep abdominal muscles and supports proper posture and alignment.

Girls progressive gymastics classes (levels 1, 2 and preteam) teach the skills needed for the four Olympic Events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam & floor. Builds self-confidence & self esteem. Foucuses on safety, use of equipment, gym rules, proper warm up & flexibility. All gymnastics classes are located at Canyonside Rec Center.
