Gymnastics - Boys Level 3
The Y's progressive gymnastics program for girls has been developed by professional coaches to provide a safe and solid foundation for gymnasts of all levels to grow and work on strength, coordination and self-esteem.

This class is for gymnasts who have passed level 2. Boys in recreation classes will have the opportunity to use all of the men’s gymnastics apparatus: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. Gymnasts will learn gymnastics terminology and develop strength, coordination, flexibility, proper form, and self-confidence. Skills include: tap swings on high bars, tumbling on floor, circles, and building skill endurance and routines. Try-outs for Pre-Team are hosted in May and November.
