Are you ready for positive, life-changing experiences in the outdoors? Look no further than YMCA Overnight Camps. We combine the fun your children want with the growth experiences they need. YMCA Camp Marston has been a San Diego favorite for thousands of children and families. Camp Marston offers you adventure, fun, friendships, and great staff – all on a spectacular 236-acre site – with activities including archery, swimming, climbing, crafts, canoeing, and more. Our camps add laughter, leadership, and lifelong memories to a host of activities.
IN-PERSON OPEN HOUSE
You are invited to our 2024 in-person open house on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 1:00–5:00pm. Come take a tour, meet the staff, try a camp activity and a delicious camp cookie!
All YMCA of San Diego overnight camps will be hosting their respective open house on this day at the same time. Please note that registration is not required for this event — just show up and show out!

We are San Diego’s oldest and best-known summer camp providing positive life-changing outdoor experiences for children and teens since 1921. We teach kids how to make friends and provide positive staff role models to help them be successful at camp and connect with others while focusing on the YMCA's core values.

Age Groups - Camp Marston
With a wide variety of safe, fun and engaging activities YMCA Camp Marston is the ultimate summer camp for children and teens aged 7-17. Depending on the camper's upcoming school grade level they will join one of three awesome villages:
- Explorers Village: Provides a safe and comfortable first step into overnight camping.
- Challengers Village: Campers focus on skill building and achievement.
- Adventurers Village: Catered to teens feeling a little more adventurous.
- Pathfinders Village: Campers will enjoy all things camp, while focusing on leadership and community.
- Marston OWLs: Campers will spend 4 days backpacking across Catalina Island.
Teen Leadership Camps
We don’t just provide an incredibly fun experience for our campers – two of our overnight teen camps specifically work on developing the leadership skills that our campers will utilize throughout their life.
Rates - Camp Marston
In addition to YMCA Member Rates, Camp Marston offers a voluntary, three-tiered pricing program based on the needs of the family. You'll be given the option to choose your rate during the registration process. To view current rates, select the appropriate age group via the link below.

Lodging Information
The majority of our campers stay in our Camp Marston lodges. They house 20 campers and each lodge has 4 toilets and 4 showers, all with their own private stall. Our Pathfinders and LITs will stay in our canvas tents. Our canvas tents have a central fireplace and hangout area.
