Tara Hodgens, LMFT

Clinical Director, YMCA Community Support Services

M.S. Marriage, Child, and Family Counseling

Qualifications:

LMFT 43981, AAMFT Certified Mentor and Clinical Supervisor

treatment Approach:

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I tend to view things through the lens of systems, whether that’s family systems, workplace dynamics, ecological systems, or broader communities. I believe that healing happens within relationships, and that understanding the systems we are a part of can bring clarity and context to our experiences. By understanding how systems impact us (and how we, in turn, impact them) we can uncover new possibilities both within those systems and despite them.

Specialities & Expertise:

I help oversee the clinical aspects of our social service and mental and behavioral health programs. I work to ensure our services are grounded in compassion, collaboration and clinical integrity.

Fun Fact about Tara!

You should know that....
I love to spend time with my family, pitbull, and friends! I cycle through hobbies every couple of years or so, right now it’s reading and gardening. In my previous years it was art, dance, and photography.
