I believe that compassionate relationships are the foundation of our being human, and that means understanding that the patterns and interactions we have with others, including the various systems, can influence our overall wellness.  “Problems” exist in context, not in individuals.  Even if I meet with you individually, the lens through which I see change happening is always within the context of our connections to families, cultures, and our complex living environmentsI use traditional “talk therapy” and also therapies that involve nonverbal processing including expressive arts, play, and EMDR.
