treatment Approach:
I ground my work in a social justice lens- constantly working at the micro- mezzo- macros levels to create community healing and change. I describe myself as an advocate, a teacher and an activist, and change-maker. I come from a person-first, empowerment centered approach and believe that personal, community and global change happens one relationship at a time.
Specialities & Expertise
My passion is working with LGBTQ+ folks, specifically TAY youth, and professionals working in the field. I also have significant experience working in sexual assault and intimate partner violence prevention intervention, and youth affected by various systems involvement.
I believe in a holistic approach to meeting people’s needs and providing support. I use Motivational Interviewing Skills, DBT, CBT, harm reduction, and restorative justice lenses to inform my work with both clients, staff, and clinicians, and believe clinical work is a lifelong process for clinicians and clients alike.
