June Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on brain health, support those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and celebrate the groundbreaking research bringing hope to families around the world.

San Diego is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading hubs for Alzheimer’s research, home to world-renowned institutions, clinical trials and scientists working to advance prevention, treatment and ultimately a cure.

Throughout June, the YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer events, workshops and activities designed to promote brain health, foster connection and raise awareness in our communities. Join us as we learn, engage and take action together for a healthier future.
