Dear Friends,
Five years ago, our annual fundraising
campaign began with a need for buses for our Teens In Motion students
to go on field trips, but the bus has since represented so much more with the
expansion of our campaign.
The
bus is a gateway into the community for our high school students with disabilities to experience life
beyond the walls of the classroom. The bus symbolizes opportunity for
our children in low-income households to be transported from their everyday life into a great outdoor adventure of camp life. It represents the future for our families who receive
behavior support that their young child will thrive in the school setting given the right tools.
The
roots of our campaign started with a bus, and inside of it is the
potential of our community.
