FAQs

How do I register?
Register through our Community Portal here. We can serve 70 students this year. It will be first come, first served, so please do not wait.

Where will Summerbridge be located?
Urban Discovery Academy | 840 14th Street, San Diego, CA 92101 — get directions.

What school does my student have to go to apply?
We accept students attending all schools in San Diego County.

Do we need to provide lunch and snack?
Free lunch is provided by SDUSD. We recommend that students also bring snacks and a water bottle daily.

On what dates does Summerbridge take place? If my student misses a few days of the program for vacation can I still apply?
Our program runs from Monday, June 8 to Friday, July 10. CLOSED ON FRIDAY, JULY 3. Since our program is only five weeks long, missing a single week results in missing out on 20 percent of the content. We strongly recommend participants remain in the program for the entirety of its duration.
