HOW ARE STUDENTS SELECTED?
All DASH applications will be reviewed by the DASH administration team. Each DASH program can accept a maximum of 50 students. Students will be enrolled based on the rating system detailed below. Once the DASH program has reached its capacity, the students selected will be placed on a waitlist.
First priority enrollment will go to students who are identified by the program as “homeless youth” as defined by the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Act or Foster Youth at the time that they apply for enrollment or at any time during the school year.
