IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Shepherd YMCA Firehouse wants to thank our members, supporters and community for their patience, commitment and passion for our Y. We are grateful that you are a part of our Y community.

Shepherd YMCA Firehouse, which has been closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has temporarily transitioned to the hub of our Virtual YMCA programs. Virtual YMCA offers live and on-demand classes allowing us to meet our members in new places while expanding the impact of our fitness programs.

We encourage you to join us at the nearby Dan McKinney Family YMCA in La Jolla for fitness activities and lap swim.

We again thank you sincerely for your support!

Membership and Program Assistance

The YMCA offers financial scholarships to reduce membership and program fees to those that qualify, helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our scholarship program is based on a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each family's financial situation, and is available thanks to our generous Annual Campaign donors.

Apply online for a scholarship here and find out if you are qualified for a membership and/or program assistance through express or traditional verification methods.
