Oven Wedge Fries

These oven-baked fries are full of flavor and will be a hit with kids.

Ingredients:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp chili powder and/or paprika

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place potato wedges on the cookie sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine garlic with seasonings and sprinkle ½ of the mixture over the top of the potato wedges.
  4. Bake wedges for about 7 minutes or until they start to brown. Flip wedges over. Sprinkle with the remaining mixture, and bake for another 7 minutes or until the wedges are browned and cooked through. Serve while hot.

Papas al horno cortadas en trocitos

Estas papas horneadas están llenas de sabor y serán un éxito con los niños.

Ingredientes:

  • Aceite en aerosol
  • 2 papas grandes tipo “russet”, cortadas en trocitos
  • 2 dientes de ajo, finamente picados
  • 1 cucharadita de condimento con sazón italiano
  • 1 cucharadita de polvo de chile y/o pimentón (en polvo)

Instrucciones:

  1. Caliente el horno a 400°F.
  2. Rocíe una charola para hornear con aceite en aerosol. Coloque los trocitos de papa sobre la charola para hornear.
  3. En un recipiente pequeño, combine el ajo con los condimentos y coloque la ½ de la mezcla encima de los trocitos de papa.
  4. Hornee los trocitos por unos 7 minutos o hasta que empiecen a dorarse. Voltee los trocitos. Rocíe con la mezcla restante de condimento y hornee otros 7 minutos o hasta que los trocitos estén dorados y cocidos totalmente. Sírvalos mientras están calientes.
