Jamie Cosson – Executive Director
Jamie has been Executive Director of the YMCA of San Diego Overnight camps since 2022 and has worked in overnight camping since 1993 where is began is camp journey as an international camp counselor from Australia. Jamie graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a degree in Recreation. He has 2 children who both love camp, Isabella 12 years old and William 7 years old. Jamie is married to Stacy who is a career teacher and camp supporter.
Rich Krudner – Associate Executive Director
Rich has been working in Environmental Education full time since 2011. He has worked at Frost Valley YMCA and Camp Jewell. He Joined the Marston team in July 2018 and looks forward to getting the youth of San Diego County outside. As a former NYC Biology and Chemistry teacher Rich brings the eyes of a teacher to camp Marston and is excited to maximize the educational value of our Outdoor Education trips. Rich lives here onsite with his wife Emily and his menagerie of awesome pets!
Sharnaye Neale – Program Director
Sharnaye's journey with summer camp began in 2022 as a wrangler at Raintree, where she quickly developed a deep appreciation for the camp experience. Originally from Australia, Sharnaye has spent years immersed in equestrian activities, honing her skills and understanding of horses. Her dedication to Raintree is unwavering, as she strives to create enriching and memorable experiences for campers while fostering a strong sense of community. She is passionate about making Raintree a special and inviting place and strives to make each camper feel celebrated and at home while they are at camp.
John Smith – Facilities
John has been with us for 15 years, and in this position as facilities director for 2 years. John is a Southern California native, who comes with a wealth of knowledge in construction, particularly in masonry. He has a keen eye for high-quality maintenance systems as well as a creative flair for camp facilities. John’s love for camp can be seen throughout all our beautiful facilities.
