How to Update Your Child Care Provider Information

Every month, all family child care home and center providers in San Diego County are asked to update their child care program data. Help us provide accurate and quality referrals to parents seeking child care by updating your information. Here are 3 different ways to update your profile with us.

Claim Your Profile on My Child Care Plan

Introducing the "My Child Care Plan Update Portal". This tool is an amazing resource to help bring organic growth to your program. Keeping your profile up to date on our referral database will ensure that families looking for child care have important and up-to-date information about your program.

Let's get started!

Claim your profile by visiting the My Child Care Plan Provider Portal. Create a username and password, and edit your profile information. Your profile includes info such as vacancies, photos of your child care program, and much more.

Update Your Profile via Email or Phone

 

To update your information, either email your update information to [email protected] or call 1-800-481-2151. 

If you are emailing the information, make sure to include the following in the body of the e-mail:

  • Name
  • Business name
  • Telephone number
  • License number
  • Capacity
  • Weekly full time (30 hours or more) rate for children:
    • Up to 1-year-old
    • 2 - 6 years old (not enrolled in Kinder)
    • Enrolled in Kinder
    • 6 years and older
  • Number of children enrolled:
    • Up to 1-year-old
    • 2 - 6 years old (not enrolled in Kinder)
    • Enrolled in Kinder
    • 6 years and older
  • Number of vacancies for children:
    • Up to 1-year-old
    • 2 - 6 years old (not enrolled in Kinder)
    • Enrolled in Kinder
    • 6 years and older

 


 

Newly Licensed

For newly licensed programs, do the following:

Provide a copy of your license or facility profile using one of the three methods below. Include your phone number with the license:

  • Email to [email protected] 
  • Fax to 619-584-5118 Attn: R&R Dept.
  • Mail to YMCA Childcare Resource Service
    ATTN: R&R Department
    4451 30th Street
    San Diego, CA 92116

Your information will not be added to the referral database until we receive a copy of your license or facility profile.
