Our Y is so much more than a gym. While the treadmill might get you in the door, the relationships are what keep you here. We have become a hub for resources —whether it’s a parent finding reliable child care so they can have an hour of self-care, a senior finding a social connection, or a family receiving financial assistance to attend summer camp, we fill the gaps. If we can’t provide it, we know the partner who can.

I am a first-generation Burmese Chinese American who’s called San Diego home since 2006. Every day, I get to provide direction, remove barriers and ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels the positive impact of the Y. It’s a privilege to serve this community.
