With school in full swing getting back on track can be a tough task. Come to our after school tutoring program to provide your child with the special assistance they need to succeed. For children under 13.
Family Cooking Class
Together in Wellness • Last Saturday of each month • Ages 5-18 plus parents
Join us for a series of healthy living classes for families and their children presented by Dr. Angie Nieson, a Family & Culinary Physician. During this partnership with United HealthCare and UrbanLife, you and your children will learn how healthy food can be fun and delicious, how to incorporate health & wellness into your daily routine, and a special gardening component. Families can sign up for one date, and twelve spots are available per month. Next class is on February 29 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. This class is FREE for all, please pre-register.
Make and Take
Explore Creativity • March 12
Our favorite class is back! Join us for a fun morning of crafting and creativity. This class is designed to bring children together to explore unique ways of making projects that are decorative, fun and useful! We will provide all the supplies and our staff will assist with all projects.
Parents Night Out

A fun night for EVERYONE! Enjoy an adult evening out while your kids have a blast at the Y — doing crafts, playing games and having fun! Please pack your child a healthy dinner. Space is limited; registration is required. Sign up online or at the Welcome Center. For ages 2-12 years old. All children must be potty trained.
Let's Celebrate • Multiple Dates Available
Dive in for a fun party in the pool at the Y! We have several options available. We book birthday parties on a first come, first served basis.
Get Up And Move • Saturdays • 8:30-9:15 am
Our parent and child dance classes are a fun introduction to the world of dance. Creative classes let kids and parents boogie down while playing games, while others learn hip hop or ballet!
Spring Break Camp

Our week-long camps are exciting ways to spend a school break! We include lots of action-packed trips and activities that keep your children engaged and happy, like daily field trips, arts & crafts, sports and games.
NEW! Strength and Conditioning for Athletes
Improve Your Performance • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays • 4:00pm, 5:00pm & 6:00pm
This class is meant for athletes of all ages and capabilities. Our coaches will assess you on day one and then create a plan in order to unlock your full athletic potential. Athletes will learn how to lift properly and effectively and decrease their chance for injury. Work alongside like-minded athletes and achieve your goals! Get Your Spirit On! • Classes run monthly • Ages 10-16
This exciting cheer program is open to all boys and girls who love to dance, cheer and perform. Within this program, children learn various tumbling, basic stunts and dance and cheer combinations as preparation for high school team auditions. Along with these skills, children practice teamwork, gain confidence, learn excellent leadership skills. We offer an Intro to Cheerleading and Intermediate Cheer Class.
Swim With Confidence • Saturdays
Water acclimation classes increase students' comfort with underwater exploration and introduce basic self-rescue skills. Instructors focus on helping students explore getting comfortable with movement in the water, developing basic skills to propel and glide, and teaching basic aquatic safety.
Learn Respect • Tuesdays & Fridays
The YMCA offers a variety of martial arts classes for different ages and skill levels. These classes are a great way to learn self-discipline, self-esteem, and respect.
- Beginner: 6-7pm, Ages 5-12
- Intermediate: 7-8pm, Ages 6-12
- Advanced: 8-9pm, Ages 7-12
Youth Dance Classes
Dance to the Beat • Multiple days and times available
Our youth dance classes are fun, healthy and challenging, and come in a wide range of dance types. For example, basic introduction to classical ballet and tap focuses on having fun while learning terms, feet and arm placement, dance etiquette and technique, while high energy boys and girls will have a blast learning hip hop basics and introductory break dance moves to today's popular music in a fun, age-appropriate class. Choose from a variety of dance classes, including ballet and tap, hip hop, tumbling and more!
Youth Sports Leagues
Get in the Game! • Spring leagues begin April 4
No matter your child's age of interest, we have a fun and engaging program for it that focuses on teamwork, friendly competition, athletics and encouragement.
From preschool sports to youth basketball clinics, from recreational soccer to basketball leagues, we have a program that can help your kids get in the game, break a sweat and learn something new! Skills assessments for Spring Youth Sports are on April 4, and the first game is April 18.

The Basketball Academy will introduce players to the basic fundamentals of basketball. Players will go over passing, shooting, dribbling and defense. Throughout this program, there will be both individual and team-building drills. Academy runs throughout the month of March.

The 12-Week Transformation Challenge is a PROGRESSIVE program to aide transformation of your mind and body with the support of the coaches.

Our certified personal trainers use their knowledge of current research concepts, methods of sound exercise principles, and state-of-the-art equipment to guide you to your fitness goals. Based on your health and individual needs, our personal trainers will customize and implement a program to fit your goals. Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem.
