Parents Night Out
Fun for All • January 24 & February 14 • 5:30-9:00 pm
Drop off the kids at the Y, while you enjoy a night out! Pack a healthy dinner, and we’ll provide crafts, games, and snacks. Ages 3-12; must be potty trained. Space is limited.
Make and Take
Fun for All • February 3 • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us for a fun morning of crafting and creativity. This class is designed to bring children together to explore unique ways of making projects that are decorative, fun and useful! We will provide all the supplies and our staff will assist with all projects. Great for ages 3-8; parents must accompany children.
Fun for All • January 18 • 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
For one day only, we will reveal the secrets of what it takes to be a true superhero! Wear your favorite superhero gear and come ready for fantastic fun! Children ages 3-12 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
Let's Celebrate • Multiple Dates Available
Dive in for a fun party in the pool at the Y! We have several options available. We book birthday parties on a first come, first served basis.
Get Up And Move • Saturdays • 8:30-9:15 am
Our parent and child dance classes are a fun introduction to the world of dance. Creative classes let kids and parents boogie down while playing games, while others learn hip hop or ballet!
School Break Camp
Best Camp Ever • January 13-17, January 20-24
When school is out, the fun is happening at the Y! Join us during the winter breaks and holidays from school for our safe and fun-filled day camp. Our day camps includes activities like field trips, arts and crafts, character development, group and cooperative games, sports and more!
Get Your Spirit On! • January
This exciting cheer program is open to all boys and girls who love to dance, cheer and perform. Within this program, children learn various tumbling, basic stunts and dance and cheer combinations as preparation for high school team auditions. Along with these skills, children practice teamwork, gain confidence, learn excellent leadership skills. We offer an Intro to Cheerleading program for ages 6-10 and Intermediate Cheer for ages 10-16.
Swim With Confidence • Saturdays
Water acclimation classes increase students' comfort with underwater exploration and introduce basic self-rescue skills. Instructors focus on helping students explore getting comfortable with movement in the water, developing basic skills to propel and glide, and teaching basic aquatic safety.
Learn Respect • Tuesdays & Fridays
The YMCA offers a variety of martial arts classes for different ages and skill levels. These classes are a great way to learn self-discipline, self-esteem, and respect.
- Beginner: 6-7pm, Ages 5-12
- Intermediate: 7-8pm, Ages 6-12
- Advanced: 8-9pm, Ages 7-12
Youth Dance Classes
Dance to the Beat • Multiple days and times available
Our youth dance classes are fun, healthy and challenging, and come in a wide range of dance types. For example, basic introduction to classical ballet and tap focuses on having fun while learning terms, feet and arm placement, dance etiquette and technique, while high energy boys and girls will have a blast learning hip hop basics and introductory break dance moves to today's popular music in a fun, age-appropriate class. Choose from a variety of dance classes, including ballet and tap, hip hop, tumbling and more!
Winter Youth Sports
Get in the Game! • January 20 - March 14
No matter your child's age of interest, we have a fun and engaging program for it that focuses on teamwork, friendly competition, athletics and encouragement.
From preschool sports to youth basketball clinics, from recreational soccer to basketball leagues, we have a program that can help your kids get in the game, break a sweat and learn something new! Mandatory skills assessments take place on January 11.

The Basketball Academy will introduce players to the basic fundamentals of basketball. Players will go over passing, shooting, dribbling and defense. Throughout this program, there will be both individual and team-building drills.

By bringing together YMCA members from pre-school, teen programs, YAA and beyond, we hope to connect and strengthen our community like never before.

Joins us for our five year anniversary of World of Dance U-Jam at the Copley-Price Family YMCA! Dance your way by supporting the Copley-Price Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign and dance with your U-Jam instructors. All dance levels are welcome!
Get Fit • Multiple Dates and Times Available
Our certified personal trainers use their knowledge of current research concepts, methods of sound exercise principles, and state-of-the-art equipment to guide you to your fitness goals. Based on your health and individual needs, our personal trainers will customize and implement a program to fit your goals. No matter your fitness level, nothing can replace the support, challenge, and accountability that come with a trainer onboard your workout.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
Healing the Whole Person • Mondays and Wednesdays • Next session begins January 2020
Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. Become Your Best Self • Multiple days and times available
This program incorporates all aspects of general fitness: cardio, strength, core training, weight training, resistance training, bodyweight workout, workouts and personal nutritional support. The 12-Week Transformation Challenge is a PROGRESSIVE program to aide transformation of your mind and body with the support of the coaches.

7 Bridges Walk
8:00 am • January 18
Join us for the Seven Bridge Walk, a scenic 5.5 mile walk through some of San Diego’s most beautiful neighborhoods. You’ll cross over iconic bridges and walk through historical landmarks. The hike is good for the entire family as it is mostly flat with elevation changes along upper contours of canyons and steps for Spruce and Quince street bridges. Friendly pets are also encouraged.

Cabrillo National Monument and Light House Tour

We will start our trip at the Visitors center where you can see films, the museum, views and walk to the statue. Then a guided tour to the light house where we will have an introductory to park and light house history, natural history plants and animals. Please register by January 27
