The San Diego County Centralized Eligibility List (CEL) is one application that connects you to different agencies across San Diego to help pay for child care for families who qualify. Child care has become the second-largest expense for families – spending up to 50% of their household budget a year. See if you qualify for this service today.

Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. Reducing Stress this Holiday Season

The holidays are approaching fast, and as they are festive, they can also be stressful. Some of us may have families to celebrate with, while others may not have the same support. Mental health can be impacted during the holidays. This is why the Y provides Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) at no cost to recognize the signs and symptoms. For more information, connect with Alyssa Ortega at [email protected]. Also, our team of mental health professionals has compiled five ways to help your family navigate the stress of the holidays in a positive and impactful way. Learn more.
