The benefits of working with a personal trainer are endless! If you’ve been thinking about hiring a personal trainer, April is a great month to get started! Starting Tuesday, April 1, members can purchase packages online — filter for your branch and look for “Personal Training Special” — or visit any location. A branch wellness leader will then contact you to discuss your goals and connect you with a trainer.

CAPITAL RENOVATION PLAN

The $50 camp store credit is valid during Summer 2025 at check-in and check-out times and expires on August 8, 2025. Age eligibility per camp is as follows: Marston (7–17), Surf (8–16), Raintree (9–17). Winners will be notified via direct message in the same thread where the camp was mentioned. CHILD WATCH
Y Community Plus members with family memberships have unlimited access to Child Watch services at 12 YMCA branch locations across San Diego County. With easy reservations through the YMCA app, you can focus on your fitness or unwind at the Y while your children play under the supervision of highly trained YMCA staff. Not yet a Y Community Plus member? Current Y members can upgrade to the Y Community Plus membership plan by stopping by any location. If you currently have Child Watch services as an add-on to your family membership, you may continue to use Child Watch services on a drop-in basis. Learn more here.

LIVESTRONG is at the YMCA! This important program for cancer survivors focuses on health, rather than the disease, and is helping cancer survivors in 40 states move beyond illness to reclaim their wellness in both spirit, mind and body. Is your little one ready to explore, learn and play in a nurturing environment? Our new preschool program is opening early 2026!
Designed for children ages 18 months to 4 years old, our program will provide a fun, engaging and play-based learning experience that helps develop important social, emotional and early learning skills.

ADVENTURE CLUBS 2025
AFTER SCHOOL RECREATION
Our YMCA after school program is a recreational program where students in grades K-5 will participate in educational assistance, daily physical activities, STEM & Art programming, along with building life skills & developing healthy relationships. Students will be split into smaller groups based on age/grade and our YMCA staff will organize games, arts & crafts and snack time.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
- Gymnastics parties: Bounce, swing and jump at our gymnastics party. Enjoy the gym with our gymnastics coaches leading safe activities then celebrate with presents and food in a separate party space! Learn more and book your party today.
- Pool parties: Splish, splash and swim! Have fun at our pool parties! Pool birthday parties are two hours long to include an hour of pool time fun in the pool (and Splash Pad if applicable) and an hour of room time for activities, food or cake (provided by parent). GYMNASTICS
Jump into fun with gymnastics! Toddlers and teens can grow strong, get confident and find balance in a safe, fun and encouraging environment. Learn more.

Open gym is available at the Escondido YMCA – A Campus for Community Well-Being and Gymnastics Center on Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30pm. Register today!
SWIM LESSONS
Sign up for group or private swim lessons! Registration for youth swim lessons opens on the 15th for members and the 17th for nonmembers. Register today!
- Swim lessons are available for all ages and abilities. Learn more about adaptive swim.
- Adult private swim clinics: Swimming is a life-long sport, and it is never too late to learn or improve. Private clinics take place on weekdays, Monday through Friday, with clinic times available from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Swim clinics are 45-minutes and cost includes four sessions. Cost per package (4 sessions): $173 members | $231 nonmembers. Start swimming!

YOUTH SPORTS
Youth sports clinics and peewee lessons are a great way to be active, learn teamwork and connect with a sport. Sign up your young athlete for youth sports clinics! When enrolling online, use the top left location filter to find options for Rancho Family YMCA.
Sports clinics: Soccer and basketball for ages 6-10.
Peewee lessons: Soccer and basketball for ages 3-5.
All ages: Karate lessons. (Register in branch)

LITTLE NINJAS
Little Ninja classes for ages 3 to 5 at the gymnastics center at Canyonside Recreation Center. The class is a perfect introduction to our parkour classes. Learn more and sign up.
