GYMNASTICS AT THE CAMERON FAMILY YMCA

A gymnastics journey that grows with you

Welcome to Cameron Family YMCA gymnastics — a place to grow, from your very first class to your final year on the competitive team. Toddlers, teens and adults alike build strength, confidence and coordination in a supportive, skill-focused environment. Our classes follow USA Gymnastics levels and progressions, so every gymnast has a clear path forward — from that first cartwheel all the way to advanced tumbling and team competition.

PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS

Accompanied by a caregiver, children learn to be comfortable in a gymnasium setting while setting the stage for a healthy lifestyle. This safe, fun and supportive environment enhances motor development and eye-hand coordination through various skill-focused rotations and free playtime.

A bridge from Parent/Child classes to preschool gymnastics, with a caregiver still by their side. Kids build confidence and independence while learning trampoline, bars, beam and floor skills — using obstacle courses, parachutes and songs to develop balance, coordination, strength and motor skills.

Preschoolers build confidence in this independent class, learning trampoline, bars, beam and floor skills while following a coach’s direction. Obstacle courses, parachutes and songs make skill-focused rotations fun while developing balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Please note: children must be able to separate from a caregiver for this class

Our Junior Olympics program (Levels 3–10) offers two paths: compulsory, where gymnasts master standardized USA Gymnastics routines to build a strong foundation, and optional, where more advanced gymnasts perform unique routines on each event. This is a year-round commitment requiring auto-pay tuition, with competition fees and uniforms as additional costs.
