Get Crafty Together! • March 24

Join us for a fun class of crafting and creativity for the spring! Members attending will have the opportunity to work on a project to take home! This is a great engagement class for children and parents to work together. Class is FREE and open only to YMCA Members. Supplies are included with enrollment. Limited space, please register today!

Get Up And Move • Multiple Levels and Days

Our youth dance classes are fun, healthy and challenging! High energy boys and girls will have a blast learning hip hop basics and introductory break dance moves to today’s popular music in a fun, age-appropriate class.

Our youth ballet program will teach basic introduction to classical ballet and tap focuses on having fun while learning terms, feet and arm placement, dance etiquette and technique!

The YMCA offers a variety of martial arts classes for different ages and skill levels. These classes are a great way to learn self-discipline, self-esteem, and respect. We are offering a Taekwondo session on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Self Defense and Friday Night Fight Club

Learn to Defend Yourself • Classes run monthly

We will soon be offering a series of self-defense, kickboxing, and Jiu-Jitsu classes. See below for the list of classes:

  • Womens Only Self Defense: 8-week course taught by Master Chucky.
  • Friday Night Fight Club: Boxing and Jiu-Jitsu Combo class. This includes 45 minutes of boxing with Coach Will and 45 minutes of Jiu-Jitsu by Instructor Nick.
  • Kick Boxing and Self Defense: Class taught by Instructor Brian on Wednesdays.

Pickleball For All

Fun at the Y • Every Sunday 2:00-4:45 pm • Ages 10+ with adult

Pickleball is a paddle sport (similar to racquetball) that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. Join us on Sundays from 2:00-4:45 pm at the basketball courts.

24th Annual Jackie Robinson Family YMCA Gala 

Brighter Futures • April 14

The annual Jackie Robinson Family YMCA Gala was originally established to honor the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball.

Since our first event in 1997, the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA has awarded $353,000 to 215 students from southeastern San Diego to help them pursue their dreams of higher education. In addition, the generosity of our inspired patrons has dedicated close to $2,000,000 to program support for kids and families living in San Diego County's most critical community.
