Memorial Day Hours
We’re open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, with modified hours! We will be open from 7:00am – 2:00pm.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS IN MAY
Mental health is no less important than our physical health. We invite young people, ages 13 to 24, to experience the Y FREE and find new activities and that support positive mental health. Find resources and learn more about teen free access eligibility.

CHILD WATCH MEMBERSHIP OPTION
Family members can opt to add a Child Watch option to their accounts, which includes unlimited use of the service for $10 monthly. New as of March 2022: Use your Child Watch benefit at any YMCA that offers the service. While you exercise or relax at the Y, children can play under the supervision of trained YMCA staff. Starting April 4, Child Watch is open to children ages 6 weeks to 9 years old!
Y FAMILY NIGHT AT SAN DIEGO LOYAL SC GAME
Join us on June 11 for Y Family Night as San Diego Loyal take on Hartford Athletic! The club is donating $6 of every ticket purchased to support YMCA youth soccer scholarships. Buy your tickets today!
The YMCA of San Diego County has partnered with San Diego Loyal SC, our hometown professional soccer team, and Rady Children’s Hospital to strengthen our youth soccer leagues by providing guidance in skill development and coaching, health best practices to help players develop self-confidence, positive relationships and resilience. POOL CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
The Jackie Robinson Family YMCA Aquatic Center is coming soon! We anticipate the pool opening by summer 2022. Please pardon the dust and noise during the construction process.
MAY IS NATIONAL DROWNING PREVENTION MONTH
Did you know that the Y has been the nation’s leader in swim instruction and water exercise for more than 100 years? Swim lessons are a key component for drowning prevention — reducing the likelihood of drowning by 88%! GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Be sure to check our group fitness class schedule for new classes and updates. Remember, members have unlimited access to classes!
OPEN PLAY IN THE GYMNASIUM
The gymnasium is available for open play again! Bring your own ball. Available to members ages 10+ (children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult).
HEALTH AND WELLNESS ORIENTATION
Meet with a wellness coach to get acquainted with equipment and classes, ask questions and chart a path to reach your goals. Schedule your 30-minute orientation at the Welcome Center! Learn more.
Y’s Active Adults (50+)
Join us for this chair-based fitness using seated and standing exercises! This class runs from 9:15 - 10:00am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Activities for Kids and Families
The Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) Program from Major League Baseball is back for the Summer! Practices begin June 29 and 30. This program is for children ages 5 through 12 (Divisions: 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12). It is designed to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball, encourage academic participation and achievement and teach the value of teamwork. Want to register your child? SUMMER YOUTH SPORTS

Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm for a family-friendly (7+) class that combines unique Latin moves and rhythms to create an exciting dynamic workout that is great for new and experienced exercisers!
Camp is calling! Registration is open now for summer day camps at 14 YMCAs and three overnight camps at YMCA Camp Marston, YMCA Raintree Ranch and YMCA Camp Surf. Sign up early to save your spot — many camps are already full.
OPEN NOW: TEEN CENTER
Our Teen Center is open now Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-6:00pm, through June 14. Teens (13-18) will receive a YMCA membership and can stop in and work on homework, engage in hands-on STEM and literacy activities, have access to our computers, play games like ping pong or board games and get a snack. The Teen Center is made possible by our partnership with United Way and The San Diego Foundation. Teens can register to join the program by filling out this Level Up SD form.
