We've streamlined the search process with our enhanced referral system to help parents make the best decision for their families.
PHONE: This includes a specialized search within our database composed of ALL programs in San Diego County including child care centers, home-based care, nanny agencies, and license-exempt programs.
How it works:
- Connect with one of our referral advisors to help us identify what needs you have regarding child care, such as location preference, child care type, and if you need infant care.
- The referral advisor will pull a list of available programs based on your criteria and will connect with each provider to see if it will be a good fit for your family.
- The referral advisor will then give you a refined list of providers and walk you through resources to choose a quality program.

ABOUT CHILDCARE RESOURCE SERVICE
The YMCA's Childcare Resource Service has been helping parents find trusted daycares and licensed child care providers throughout San Diego County for over 40 years — including non-YMCA child care centers, family child care homes, nanny agencies, and license-exempt school-based programs.
Thanks to being a state-funded child care referral agency (one of the first in California), we provide this service at no cost, and our database of licensed care providers must meet tough California state requirements.
