Gymnastics - Boys Level 2
Our boys gymnastics program is designed to build strength and flexibility, where students learn learn basic tumbling skills and are introduced to men's gymnastics apparatus: rings, parallel bars, ropes and vault. A terrific way to develop coordination that can be utilized in any sport.

This class is for gymnasts who have passed level 1. Boys in recreation classes will have the opportunity to use all of the men’s gymnastics apparatus: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. Gymnasts will learn gymnastics terminology and develop strength, coordination, flexibility, proper form, and self-confidence. Skills include: pullover on high bars, round-off, backward rolls and building skill endurance.
*Must be recommended by a YMCA coach.
